Worship Service Bulletin
January 11, 2025
Let us know you joined us for worship (by clicking the image above) then stop by the welcome table outside the sanctuary and grab a gift, full of helpful information about our mission and ways to get connected.
As you are getting to know us, we would love to get to know you.
Our worship begins with God. We gather to experience the gospel story that tells us that God is holy, we have sinned, Jesus saves, and we are sent into the world to manifest this good news in word and deed. Our service is ordered in such a way to reorient our hearts and minds around this great story.
CREATION (God is holy)
Worship begins with God. We are here because God has initiated with us as Creator to his creation. Let's tell of his great works...

FALL (We have sinned)
Knowing the holiness of God causes us to see the intensity of our sin and need for his grace. Let's acknowledge our need before him.

About The Lord’s Supper at Holy Cross
This is an opportunity for all of us to seek the Lord. It is an occasion for baptized Christians to be strengthened by our Savior, through faith. All who trust alone in Christ as Savior, belong to a church that embraces the Gospel, and are striving to live as a follower of Jesus are welcome to participate. If you are not yet a Christian, please consider spending this time in prayer.

Communion Prayers
Prayer for those seeking the Truth:
Jesus, you claim to be the way, the truth, and the life. Give me patience and faith as I consider following you. If what you say is true, please guide me, teach me, and open me up to this new reality.
Prayer for Belief:
Lord Jesus, I admit that I am weaker and more sinful than I ever before believed, but through you, I am more loved and accepted than I ever dared to hope. I thank you for paying my debt, bearing my punishment on the cross and offering forgiveness and new life. Knowing that you have been raised from the dead, I turn from my sins and receive you as my Savior and Lord. Amen.
RESTORATION (Jesus sends us)
We are reminded to live in light of the resurrection as we await the full renewal in the return of Christ. Let's go into the world with the full confidence of the Father's provision, joy in the grace of his Son, and power of his Spirit.
